Inspired by the concept of “inner space,” my practice approaches the body as a unique domain, developing images based on the intricate activities within—the movements of life and mind traversing unconscious, preconscious, and conscious states. This artistic exploration externalizes internal bodily experiences through diverse media, including oil painting, printmaking (silkscreen), and installation.
I am deeply interested in the dynamic relationships between self and other, inside and outside, and the permeable surfaces of skin and senses that engage with the external world. By identifying moments where these boundaries intersect, fluctuate, and transform, I investigate the subtle sensations that define personal space and interpersonal distance.
